Camdyn earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Lipscomb University in 2023, during which she worked on independent research focused on novel cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers of neurodegeneration. Following graduation, she worked in the Neuroscience & TMS Treatment Centers in Nashville as a programmer for a Medicare study and lead TMS technician, primarily working with individuals with major depressive disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She also worked for a forensic psychology practice as a research assistant and parenting supervisor. Camdyn’s primary interest in the lab is understanding the neuropsychology of psychotic disorders and identifying factors that contribute to the onset of psychosis. She currently works on studies examining anxiety and cognition in psychotic disorders.
